In February and in May our 3rd and 4th grade students took part in an English Project Week. They were taught by native speakers from different English-speaking countries (e.g. the USA, Ireland, Scotland and England).
All teachers are part of the Associated Bilingual Classroom Initiative (ABCi), a nonprofit organization promoting the use of English in Austrian classrooms.
Together they did lots of learning games, talking and sketches. Six hours a day they were supposed to speak only English. They had a great time. At the end of the week they proudly presented their sketches in the gym in front of their parents, teachers and school mates.
